Myth #1: Scoliosis is caused by bad posture.
Fact: Posture doesn’t cause scoliosis. Most cases are idiopathic (no known cause).

Myth #2: Only girls get scoliosis.
Fact: Both boys and girls can get scoliosis, but curves in girls are more likely to worsen and need treatment.

Myth #3: Heavy backpacks cause scoliosis.
Fact: Backpacks may cause back pain, but they don’t cause spinal curves.

Fact: Braces are highly effective at stopping curve progression if worn properly.
